A fertile place, sandwiched between Gorakhpur-Azamgarh road, is a mid sized village. There are two typical market on both side of this village– Anjan Shaheed and Magaru Ganj where small shops and hawkers can easily be seen. Hindi Urdu and Bhojpuri are the Local Languages here. Nearby villages are natthupur ( 1.0 km ) , devapar ( 1.2 km ) , 1.0 km ) , daudpur ( 2.1 km ) , chattarpur (1.5 km ).
